I decided to spend my birthday month at the beautiful Princess Senses The Mangrove, and honestly… the views alone were worth the trip. The overwater villa felt unreal — like one of those places you see online and assume is probably hours and hours away, except this time I was actually standing right in it in beautiful Jamaica. Definitely keep note that this is a fully all-inclusive resort, adults only.
And getting my second room decorated for my birthday? So thoughtful, and honestly so pretty to look at. Getting your hotel room decorated for your birthday is such a special feeling, but we’ll talk about that in another article. 😁
In this article, I’m breaking absolutely everything down: the front of the resort, the lobby, the overwater villa, the restaurants, the spa and pools, the beach, and of course — the full YouTube tour. (If you want to see the second room, be sure to check out our YouTube video touring the full resort — it’s posted right here.)
Front of the Resort

The front of the resort was honestly so beautiful. There’s greenery everywhere — the kind that makes you stop for a second because it frames the hotel sign perfectly. At first glance, the whole place is just… nice to look at. Clean, lush, inviting. It sets the tone before you even step inside.
The Lobby

The lobby is huge — like, surprisingly huge. It’s an open‑air space, super airy, and one of the biggest lobbies I’ve walked into in a while. The designs and architecture give it this elevated, modern vibe without feeling cold. It’s the kind of lobby where you walk in and instantly feel like you’re on vacation.
The Overwater Villa

This room is what caught my eye the most. Touring it felt like stepping into a dream — the infinity pool alone had me speechless. You can literally take a dip and stare at the view anytime you want, morning or night.
And yes, the room comes with 24/7 butler service, which made the whole experience feel even more luxurious.
My favorite part? The outdoor shower. I don’t know what it is about showering outside, but it just hits different.

The Restaurants: The Pearl & Robert’s Flame

I ate at way more restaurants during my stay, but these two stood out the most.
Robert’s Flame had my favorite dish of the entire trip — the mussel caviar dish. I’m a caviar girl, so the second I see it on a menu, I’m ordering it without hesitation. And this one did not disappoint.
The Pearl looks like something straight out of a movie. Everything is white, clean, and elegant, with pearl‑inspired designs everywhere. It honestly feels like you’re dining inside an art gallery. If you’re visiting this resort, this is the restaurant I’d tell you to check out first.
The Spa & Pools

The spa area is such a peaceful escape. They have relaxation pools, saunas, and quiet corners where you can just sit back and take in the Jamaican views. One of the representatives even gave me a little tour, which was wonderful since I learned a lot about their spa— and it made me appreciate the space even more.
The Princess Senses Spa is a peaceful 19,000‑sq‑ft wellness sanctuary offering massages, facials, hydrotherapy circuits, and beauty treatments. Guests can unwind in the sauna, steam room, hot tub, or solarium before slipping into one of the private treatment rooms for a personalized ritual. It’s designed to feel like a full mind‑and‑body escape right inside the resort.
Fun fact: one of the entertainment features at this resort is that they can teach you how to speak Patois, one of the main languages and dialects spoken in Jamaica. It’s such a cool cultural touch, and honestly something more resorts should offer.
The Beach

The beaches here are absolutely beautiful — soft white sand, calm water, and that perfect Caribbean blue. I had a fresh coconut while taking in the views, and it was one of those simple moments that just sticks with you.
There’s also the Euphoria Beach Bar, where you can grab a drink and just vibe out. It’s the perfect spot to unwind.
