This adults-only, all-inclusive resort was everything we hoped for and more, offering the perfect mix of chill vibes and exciting moments. First Impressions: That Wow Lobby

Walking into the lobby of Haven Riviera Cancun felt like stepping into a design magazine – in the best way possible! The high ceilings, the super chic décor, and the soothing sound of the water features just instantly put us in vacation mode. Check-in was a breeze, with the friendliest staff handing us cool towels and a welcome drink. The open design was so refreshing, letting the breeze drift through. We loved just chilling in the comfy lounge areas, perfect for a breather after traveling. It definitely felt like a grand entrance to our little slice of paradise.

Piece of Heaven: The Room

Our room? Seriously amazing. It was the garden view balcony suite, and it was like having your own private sanctuary. So much space, such stylish furniture, and those little extra touches that made all the difference. But the real showstopper was definitely the jacuzzi overlooking that incredible pool/garden view. Waking up to that every morning felt like a dream. The bathroom was just as impressive, with a rainfall shower, double sinks, and many mirrors, including a makeup mirror for those who need it when getting ready. Not many resorts have this so we really appreciated this. Plus, having the mini-bar stocked, Mexican snacks and a safe for our valuables, and great AC was super convenient and a nice touch.

Pool Days and Chill Vibes: The Pools

Haven Riviera Cancun has 3 pools, and each one had its own personality! We spent a good chunk of our afternoons there, just enjoying the energy. But when we were craving a bit more peace and quiet, the other pools were perfect. All the pools on the resort are warm so rest assured you’ll be comfortable when you take a swim. And we never had trouble finding a comfy lounger, with the staff always around to make sure we had everything we needed.

Dining Experiences

Okay, let’s talk about the food – because it was a major highlight! Haven Riviera Cancun has many different restaurants, from buffets like the amazing flavours restaurant, and really elegant places like the Mexican steakhouse. It’s important to keep note that some restaurants will require a reservation.

We enjoyed some incredible Mexican dishes at Agua Bendita. It’s one of the restaurants on the resort that requires a booking. Super freshly made fat steaks. Myself personally always appreciates a fatty steak, I’m sure some of you do as well. Those steaks were cooked to perfection, and the whole atmosphere was just fantastic. Being all-inclusive meant we could really explore all the different flavors without a second thought. The presentation of the food was always top-notch, and the service was always so attentive. Especially at Flavours buffet!

Keeping the Good Times Rolling: Entertainment

While relaxing was definitely on our agenda, Haven Riviera Cancun also knows how to keep things fun! During the day, there were always activities happening, like foam parties in the water, and volleyball if you’re feeling active. But the evenings were when things really came alive! What really stood out though was the amazing entertainment. They had an artist who also played the violin near the pool and a live band– so talented and unique. And the fire show in the evening was absolutely incredible to watch. The entertainment team was so enthusiastic and made sure everyone was having a great time. It was the perfect way to wind down after dinner and make some fun memories.

Our trip to Haven Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa was truly unforgettable. The combination of luxurious comfort, stunning scenery, incredible food (especially that steakhouse!), and fantastic entertainment (seriously, that fire show!) made it the perfect adults-only escape. We’re already dreaming of when we can go back! If you’re looking for a sophisticated and fun-filled getaway in paradise, we can’t recommend Haven Riviera Cancun enough!
